Description

This is the Mosin-Nagant socket bayonet fitted to the earlier Model 1891 rifles, manufactured up to around 1930. It is designed to fit only the rifles without a protector around the foresight , so will not fit a M1891/30. This example is in very good straight condition, with good blacking and a sound undamaged end. These bayonets were not meant to have a pointed end, in fact the tip doubled as a screwdriver!
