Description

The fallschirmjager Gergewehr FG42, abbreviated to the FG42, translated to 'Paratrooper Rifle'. It was introduced in 1943, with its first operational use being during the famous Gran Sasso Raid mounted by German commandos to rescue Mussolini from captivity. The weapon saw use with German airborne forces throughout the rest of the war and was recognised as being one of the most advanced small arms of WW2.

Our fine reproduction slings are made from a quality brown leather. They are quality replicas, and ideal for WW2 German late-war re-enactors.
